Conferência “Global Governance in the International Regime of Climate Change” – 28/08 – 10h

A convite da Pró-Reitoria da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Dr. Timothy Cadman fará a conferência “Global Governance in the International Regime of Climate Change”, onde tratará da importância e dos desafios apresentados pela Convenção-Quadro das Nações Unidas sobre Mudanças Climáticas para enfrentar os impactos das mudanças climáticas. Além disso, apresentará o “Climate Map”, uma ferramenta que possibilita todos os stakeholders de navegar pelos diversos e variados elementos da UNFCCC, oferecendo uma visão além da bidimensional, conectada com diversas bases de informação de maneira interativa. O objetivo é envolver o governo e a sociedade civil num processo de reflexão crítica para um melhor futuro.

Dr. Timothy Cadman é professor no Instituto de Ética, Governança e Direito da Universidade de Griffith, Queensland, Austrália.

Aborda as mudanças climáticas e sustentabilidade ambiental de modo integrado, com foco no desenvolvimento acadêmico, governança e gestão e política ambiental.

A aluna Elisa María Londoño Restrepo, orientanda do professor Jorge Destri Junior, apresentou seu artigo de título Avaliação da integração entre o BRT e o transporte cicloviário no XX Congreso Latinoamericano de Transporte Público y Urbano (CLATPU).

O CLATPU 2018 teve como tema “Innovando para repensar el Transporte Urbano“, aconteceu do dia 23 a 26 de julho deste ano em Medellín, Colômbia.
